Meet the Board

Jenessa Jimoh

Executive Director

Jenessa Jimoh (she/they) is a Westminster College graduate in Global Political Economy. Her passion for equity and inclusion started in high school when she learned about systemic inequality, such as gerrymandering and voter suppression, in her government class. Jenessa believes that it is so important to engage in difficult conversations because they bring the most genuine understanding and growth. She is also a huge advocate for taking action to rewire unconscious biases and cause sustainable change. This is why she created Diversity Inclusion Values Action (D.I.V.A.) to bring people together and broaden their perspectives of life. Jenessa plans to use the skills she has developed as a leader and community organizer to make real, legislative change.

Jenessa’s office hours are M T 10am-5pm

She is excited to commit herself to D.I.V.A. and work with her team to support people in their discomfort in order to take action when engaging with people who come from diverse backgrounds.
